What would our communities look like if we had well organized disaster response teams read for local, community issues like house fires, floods, etc.? Many churches are doing this already but what if, in cooperation with the Red Cross, we had a total network of trained churches who are on "THE LIST" and we strive to arrive before the Red Cross does? A Hometown Hero - Jimmy Long
This exciting new project is designed to achieve a number of goals and not the least of which is honoring the simple acts of kindness, faith and servant leadership which so typifies life in Chattanooga. This is the first is a series of videos honoring individuals in our community, people who would likely never be recognized on the evening news or daily newspaper, who faithfully impact our city one person at a time. We believe this film series will influence Chattanooga in a positive way simply by honoring positive people who reach out to serve others.
